Georgia Medical Marijuana Card

We are excited to announce that the evaluation process for obtaining a medical marijuana card in Georgia has resumed. With the opening of dispensaries in the state, we are eager to assess your eligibility and assist you in this regard.

Eligibility for the Georgia Medical Marijuana Card is divided into three categories:

1. Adults who have been diagnosed with one or more of the specific diseases specified by the law.

2. Legal guardians of adults who have been diagnosed with one or more of the specified diseases.

3. Parents or legal guardians of minor children who have been diagnosed with one or more of the specified diseases.

The law covers various conditions and diseases that qualify for enrollment in the Low THC Oil Registry. These include, but are not limited to:

1. Cancer, in cases where the diagnosis is end stage or the treatment causes associated wasting illness or persistent nausea and vomiting.

2. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), in cases where the diagnosis is severe or end-stage.

3. Seizure disorders related to epilepsy or trauma-induced head injuries.

4. Multiple sclerosis (MS), in cases where the diagnosis is severe or end-stage.

5. Crohn’s disease.

6. Mitochondrial disease.

7. Parkinson’s disease, in cases where the diagnosis is severe or end-stage.

8. Sickle cell disease, in cases where the diagnosis is severe or end-stage.

9. Tourette’s syndrome, when diagnosed as severe.

10. Autism spectrum disorder, for patients who are either 18 years of age or older, or for minors diagnosed with severe autism.

11. Epidermolysis bullosa.

12. Alzheimer’s disease, in cases where the disease is severe or end-stage.

13. AIDS, in cases where the syndrome is severe or end-stage.

14. Peripheral neuropathy, when symptoms are severe or end-stage.

15. Patients enrolled in a hospice program, either as an inpatient or outpatient.

16. Intractable pain.

17. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from direct exposure to or witnessing a trauma, applicable to patients aged 18 years or older.

To begin the evaluation process, we invite you to visit our clinic in Suwanee. Our clinic operates from Monday to Thursday, with evaluations conducted at 3:00 p.m. on these days. Kindly take note of the following details:

Please bring a valid Georgia driver’s license or ID. Out-of-state licenses will not be accepted.

It is crucial to provide medical records that confirm your medical condition as mentioned above. Without proper documentation, we will be unable to proceed with your card application.

Please be aware that we do not accept insurance. The evaluation, examination, and application fee for the card amounts to $250.

While appointments are typically conducted in person, exceptions can be made in certain cases. If you have severe mobility issues, telemedicine appointments may be arranged.

We apologize, but we are unable to address phone inquiries regarding medical marijuana cards due to high call volume. If you are interested in obtaining a medical marijuana card, we kindly request you to visit our clinic at 3:00 PM from Monday to Thursday, bringing along your medical records. We will assess your eligibility and guide you through the application process.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation. We eagerly anticipate your visit to our clinic.
